Richard Craven has over 20 years experience working with and prescribing medications for young adults, adults, and the geriatric population in hospitals and outpatient clinics. The first appointment with Richard Craven will be a focused evaluation where he will get to know you as an individual and ask detailed questions so an appropriate diagnosis can be made. Perhaps you are not sure whether medication is right for you, or you have had many medication trials in the past. Not every person needs a Psychiatrist or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. During the initial evaluation, Richard Craven will discuss the potential benefits and risks of medication for you as an individual.

Richard Craven has a passion for the brain and neurochemistry, and is constantly keeping up to date on the newest and most effective treatments used by Psychiatrists and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners. If medication is determined to be useful by Richard Craven and yourself, the goal is to use the lowest possible amount while still optimizing treatment.
